- - On 22/12/2024 at Guardian Bukit Bintang, I was accused of stealing a RM4 tissue.
- - Staff alleged tissue in my bag; CCTV to be checked; paid for 2 items.
I am writing to formally complain about an incident that occurred on 22/12/2024 at approximately 9.36 am at Guardian Bukit Bintang Branch. I had purchased my item at 9.35 pm and then I left the store 10 meters away and came back since I realized the item that I paid for which is the biore sunscreen I left it on the counter so I went to take it but there was a staff already waiting for me and bluntly accused me of taking the tissue.
I said no I dint take and you can check my bag she rudely said you come in and wait here and we are currently checking the CCTV now. My question was that if Im able to afford to get plenty of things from guardian why would I steal a RM 4 worth of tissue paper. She (Noorfazidah) claimed that her staff saw me putting the tissue inside my bag. Its basic logic where a medium sized bag would not fit it tissue paper pack.
The first staff entered and came out questioning how many items I have purchased to another staff and she said 2 then they went on saying I had 3 items and I only paid for 2 in Bahasa Malaysia thinking Im a foreigner but well versed in speaking Bahasa Melayu as well. While they were interrogating me the security guards, the customer in guardian and almost everyone gazed at me intensely and was suspicious. This false accusation has caused me embarrassment, distress, damage to my reputation.
This has been one of the most traumatic experience Ive ever had.
Then I waited for another staff to view the CCTV footage to confirm that I did not steal the tissue or any other product but the damage was done and I was incredibly traumatized.
Your staff that claims to be attentive said that I stole a tissue pack dis not even inform me that I left my item that I paid for and took and kept it near the counter shelf, then the first accusation was stealing the tissue paper pack but no alarm was beeping when I left, the questioned me so rudely and treated me like a thief when it was not even proven, then they checked the CCTV claiming that I only paid for 2 item when I took 3 items. This is honestly ridiculous getting accused for this theft when I have been a loyal customer of guardian.
This is the WOSRT experience I have ever faced and I am being civilized by sending this email here and not taking this issue to the social media yet.

Today, I went to bought some personal care with my husband at the Guardian Senai Airport. When we about to pay at the cashier, my husband went to the counter to make payment while I was busy trying the tester.
What make me feel so angry and disgusting is when I turned around the INDIAN GIRL a cashier girl, I saw she tried to flirt with my husband. She is OVER smiling without any reason to my husband and how the way she look and behaving towards my husband is so suspicious. When I look at her she is so nervous like she did big mistakes. I saw this indian girl like *** girl.
She dont know the boundaries with the male customer. What makes me say this is because she did smile with my hubby but not with me. Plus she also make a grumpy face to me. Please, teach her to take care of the GUARDIAN image.
Because of the *** staff like her will make u lose customer. For your information, I love to shopping at guardian so much. This things make me feel insecure and feel shame as a woman when your staff behaving like this.
Please improvise this kind of things. I hope you give her a lesson about this.Honestly, I feel sad and I will not visit guardian again,Thanks.

On 13/6/2024, i want to redeem freegift from touch and go at Guardian Pacific Place (Evolve Mall), and she ask me to buy any item to redeem it. After i choose my item to buy, i go to cashier and pay the item. But this time, another staff (the look is like aunty with innocent face -_-) is assist me. And she don't know anything about my redemption and the rude free hair staff didn't say anything to her about that???
After pay, i ask her about my redemption AND SHE SAID I CANNOT GET MY FREEGIFT. Because she said the item need to scan with the freegift??? ((its her friends fault because she didnt scan my item with the freegift)) and i ask her why you didn't scan the item with the freegift?? but she kept interrupting me and ASK ME TO BUY ANOTHER ITEM TO GET THE FREEGIFT???
and i ask her to responsible and she kept said to me to buy another item very rudely??? How can she as a staff, don't know the procedure for redemption item?? until the customer need to responsible for the mistakes they made??? and the audacity she didn't say sorry to me also??

But still not be full time yet? I love to work here, that why i still not resign. If many part-time, the rate of hour will decrease. Decrease rate hour means small salary, who even survive rm7++ these days?
Everything expensive in this era. Well, at least increase our rate for part time. Not all part-time still single, And even for the single still have commitment and things to pay. Even im as part-time have commitment and bills to pay.
Even im as part time the salary still not enough. Want to saving money for my future also hard. Food , vehicle to go to work also need fuel? One month can cost 50+.
Inc, public transport . My house to my workplace can cost rm15+ for one way to work.

I have reported this issue to the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Malaysia.
I ordered items from Guardian Online on 28 August 2021, however, until now the status is shipping. I checked with GDex but
it stated pending physical shipment from sender.
Then, I called Guardian customer service twice to complain about this matter.
The staff told me that I have to wait for them to send email for any update about my parcel. Nevertheless, none of the emails I received are about my paid items.
I have been waiting for so long just to get a few items from Guardian as compared to received items I bought online from overseas within a week.
This is a very bad experience for me from a very well known company.
I need to know the updates and please send me the items as fast as possible, as i know that they are not hard to get and always in stock. Or else, i am going to complain about this to the authorities.
